Upload File Compatibility
To ensure your documents are read correctly by Verolex AI tools such as Lexioneer, please review the upload compatibility chart below.
1. Lexioneer (AI Chat Upload)
Lexioneer accepts these formats when you upload directly through the chat interface:
- .pdf (text-based only — no scanned images)
- .doc / .docx
- .txt
- .rtf
- .md
⚠️ Image-only PDFs or graphic files will not process correctly in chat.
2. Upload Page (/upload)
On the standard upload page, you may submit a broader range of file types for staff review or alignment processing:
- .pdf (including scanned files)
- .doc / .docx
- .txt / .rtf / .md
- .xls / .xlsx
- .csv
- .png / .jpg / .jpeg (headshots, screenshots)
- .zip (only if enabled)
- .ppt / .pptx (if applicable)
How to Avoid Errors
- Make sure your PDF is not a scanned image — use “Save as PDF” from Word or Google Docs.
- Limit file names to standard letters/numbers (avoid symbols like %, &, #).
- If unsure, try uploading through the main upload page.
