Why Resume Privacy Matters

A. Your resume contains highly sensitive information, including employment history, compensation, contact details, and professional affiliations. We prioritize your control and peace of mind by giving you agency over:

• Who sees your resume
• When and how it’s shared
• If and when it is deleted

Upload & Analysis Options 

A. Front-End Confidential Upload (Session-Based):

• URL: https://legalrecruiter.com/upload/
• Used for resume evaluations, Virtual Communicator requests, or general file review
• No account login required
• Files are analyzed and deleted at the end of the session
• AI interacts in real time, offering insights and analysis

B. Member Resume Upload:

• Uploaded from user dashboard or assigned Virtual Communicator
• Resume is stored securely
• Controlled access and revision tracking
• Resume AI builds a virtual version and flags disclosure options

Supported File Types: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt

Resume Disclosure Settings (User-Controlled): Upon uploading your resume, you'll be prompted to select a visibility option (In Final Testing):

• Only Me (Private AI Session)
• LegalRecruiter Staff Only (For custom job matching)
• Approve Each Match (We'll ask before sharing with any employer)
• Verified Employers Only (Open only to pre-screened hiring entities)
  
  These settings can be:

• Updated anytime via your dashboard
• Set to expire after a time period
• Restricted by role type, geography, or employer tier

Resume AI: Virtual Resume Creation: LegalRecruiter’s Resume AI builds a professionally formatted version of your resume for:

• AI-based matching
• Presentation to vetted employers (with your approval)
• Internal recruiter reference

Resume AI only activates disclosure upon matching criteria and your selected permission.

How to Change, Restrict, or Revoke Access: 

• Log into your dashboard → Go to "Resume Control Panel"
• View disclosure history logs
• Revoke specific permissions
• Re-upload a redacted resume
• Request a complete deletion of stored files

 Candidate Rights: As a candidate, you always have the right to:

• Know who accessed your resume
• Revoke permissions at any time
• Request deletion or export of data
• Opt out of AI interaction at any point

 Employer Conditions: Employers accessing resume data agree to:

• Use resumes for legitimate hiring purposes only
• Maintain confidentiality
• Comply with LegalRecruiter’s data use standards
• Immediately delete resumes when instructed
